I made egg rolls for the first time a few weeks ago and they turned out AMAZING. However, I will have to find a new sauce with which to eat them because sweet and sour sauce just has too much salt (I’ve been cutting out processed food and I can taste the salt in SO MANY things now). Since I had a package of egg roll wraps left over I decided to do something else with them and came up with this. They make the perfect appetizer.
First I would like to say, one of these days my projects will go as planned from start to finish. In the meantime, this is my high low dress (this was supposed to be a whole different dress, but I’ll get back to it later).
Lately I’ve been hooked on pecans with plain Greek yogurt mixed with honey. I have also recently found a place that gives awesome chicken deals. So I decided to mix it all together. Well, not the yogurt.
Every so often a basket of delicious cookies would magically appear at work. I didn’t know who made them at first, but I always helped myself. They were for sharing of course. Eventually I found out these delicious treats were shortbread cookies. YUM. Remember that cookbook this recipe came from? Well, it just so happen it also has a recipe for shortbread. Of course, I had to try it.
